How's this for a great adventure vacation? The snow capped top of Kilimanjaro is a few 100 meters higher than Everest Base Camp, yet is climbed by hundreds of people each year. That is not to say that it is not a considerable undertaking that requires serious planning. Whilst trekking Kilimanjaro
the same area of Tanzania also has the smaller Mt Meru (still 4566 m) and the Arusha National Park where you might get to see baboons, elephants and giraffes.
