East and South Africa Safari

Although part of the same continent, the African Safari regions of Southern and East Africa are quite diverse and offer different vacationing experiences.

The wide savannas of the Eastern countries provide larger herds of animals whilst the Southern experience tends towards smaller more exclusive groups of travellers.

The Southern countries include South Africa, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

To the East are the countries of Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. The great Maasai Mara and Serengeti reserves cover much of this area and the annual wildebeest and zebra migrations occur between the two areas.
