Ever felt the urge to jump out of an plane, particularly one travelling at 15,000 feet? Perhaps you fancy the thought of a little free-falling until your parachute opens and you descend gracefully to the ground?

Don't be fooled, a Skydive is a pure adrenaline rush, providing you can get past the problem of jumping through the open door!

Whilst you wouldn't want to try this without some considerable training the option of a tandem skydive can provide a great introduction to this sport and can make a great addition to any adventure vacation.

In a tandem sky dive, you are securely connected to an experienced sky dive instructor who controls the parachute and the safety elements of the jump, letting you enjoy a period of freefall that will last about 60 seconds before the parachute is opened.

Packages are available at many drop zones and dive clubs that include training, the plane trip to the drop zone, the equipment (and the use of the tandem instructor). You will probably take along a healthy amount of fear and anticipation which together make this one of the ultimate high adrenaline activities.
