The warm waters off Greece, Spain, France and Turkey offer a wealth of excellent sailing opportunities.

The stable weather in Greece, the navigation by sight and the closely spaced harbours make it easy sailing, with many delightful places to explore en route. There are a plethora of restaurants catering for the tourist trade, but the more popular harbours can fill up quickly.

The weather lasts from Mid April to early October, but many restaurants will close after the main summer season ends in mid September. Arriving before the end of June means the temperatures are less hot, but still pleasant.

The Aegean coast of Turkey has many harbours and beaches, the shore offering historical sites of interest, and marinas in the larger cities.

Summer gets hot between July and August, but the season runs from April to October, the latter month possibly the best for your Turkey sailing vacation.
